The Week of Giving is a regional philanthropic event that allows donors to make the most of their contributions. During the week of March 19-23, the library will be participating in this online fund drive campaign hosted by the Punxsutawney Area Community Foundation and the Bridge Builders Community Foundation.
If you choose to donate as a part of the Week of Giving, 100% of your donation will come back to the library. On top of the total amount we raise over the week, an additional amount will be added through an incentive pool of private donations, making every $1 worth even more.
Our goal this year is to raise over $1,000 to improve and initiate new programs for skill development across all ages.
On Tuesday, March 20, all 14 of the participating local organizations will be available at the library between 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and 5 p.m.-7 p.m. to learn and discuss each non-profit's mission and purpose in our community. Coffee and treats will be available.
You may click on the Week of Giving logo to be directed to the website to learn about all of the participating organizations and donate anytime that week, or you may stop by the library during most operating hours, and we can help you make your contribution through the website.
